My Dearest Dustin,
I’m so proud of you and for all you have accomplished at your age. Please accept these small tokens of love from me. You will always have a special place in my heart that nobody could ever replace. I miss you so much. Hope you can make some time to come out and visit me. And make it soon!
I love you!
Momma
Hand written in the most beautiful dark black ink with the straightest cursive ever inside a lovely card from my mother. She packed several boxes of things for me for the apartment. Had them hand delivered by my step dad who is passing through town tonight. I read this card in the car. I cried. I stopped. I picked up the phone to phone my mother and simply say that I love her. Things like this make me feel so lucky. So special. I know everyone says that their mother is the best, but really… my mom is the best.
I have no idea if my mother reads these blogs. If you’re reading this mom - I love you. I love you so very much. I miss you.
I wish I wrote in amazingly beautiful hand writing like her. I hope she likes my card/letter. I hope it gets there fast! It won’t be there by Mother’s Day, but it will get there.
Written with love,
Dustin.
